"Live on the beach". Do you want to rent an apartment in a beach town, or do you mean camp in a tent on the beach for free?

If it's the 2nd, the police in Nicaragua beach towns are on that. You can't do that long term without being run out of town.

Las Pen~itas / Poneloya (on the coast near Leon). is a good choice, for several reasons.

Ometepe is also a good choice, if "beach" includes lake shore.

The Corn Islands in the Caribbean. Beautiful beaches and warm water. Only good gringo spot on the Caribbean side.
