Will I save money living in Grecia?
"yes. it is a much more affordable living. I did have to spend extra money initially to get set up again since shipping belongings here was too expensive. I also need a vehicle which I will have to save for," remarked one in Grecia.
"Yes, it is possible to save money living in Grecia compared to living in the United States. This is due primarily to the lower cost of living, which includes lower rent prices, less expensive groceries, and lower overall prices on everyday goods. Additionally, wage differences between the two countries result in lowered costs for goods and services provided in Costa Rica," explained one expat.
What is the average cost of housing in Grecia?

"The cost of housing in Grecia can vary depending on the type of property and size. On average, renting a one-bedroom apartment in Grecia will cost between $250 and $500 per month, while a three-bedroom house can range from $500 to $1000 a month. Buying a home in Grecia will cost more but can range from $50,000 to $400,000 depending on the size and location of the property," explained one expat living in Grecia, Costa Rica.

"The rental price for a nice 1 bedroom apartment in Grecia, is around $400 to $600, while the rental price for a nice 2 bedroom apartment is around $550 to $900," remarked one expat in Grecia.
What appliances are typically included in a rental?
We asked foreigners in Grecia what appliances are typically included in a rental, and, if there is anything else included or not included that a newcomer would not expect. Replies included:
"Rental properties in Grecia usually come with basic kitchen appliances such as a refrigerator and stove, as well as washer/dryers. Some properties may also include a dishwasher or microwave. As for the bedrooms, most will have closets and some may include ceiling fans. Additionally, many properties include a patio or balcony area, as well as access to various shared community amenities," remarked one expat in Grecia.
