Housing tends to be the most significant expense, with rental prices for apartments and houses being quite steep. Utilities such as electricity, water, and internet are also costly. Groceries and food expenses can also be high, especially for imported goods. However, local produce and seafood can be more affordable. Dining out in restaurants can be expensive, particularly in tourist areas. Transportation costs can vary, with public transportation being a more affordable option compared to owning and maintaining a vehicle. Gasoline prices are relatively high. Healthcare in Barbados is of a high standard but can be expensive, particularly for specialized treatments or procedures. Overall, while the cost of living in Bathsheba, Barbados can be high, it is somewhat offset by the high quality of life, beautiful surroundings, and warm climate that the area offers," remarked one in Bathsheba.
