Is the cost of living in Rhodes high?

We asked people how much they someone comfortably live on in Rhodes, they wrote:

"The cost of living in Rhodes, is generally considered to be lower than in many other European cities. Rent, in particular, is quite affordable, especially when compared to larger cities. The cost of groceries and dining out is also relatively low, with local markets offering fresh produce at reasonable prices. Utilities such as electricity, heating, cooling, and internet are also less expensive than the European average. However, imported goods and luxury items can be more expensive due to the island's remote location. Public transportation is quite affordable, but owning and maintaining a car can be costly due to high petrol prices. Overall, the cost of living in Rhodes can be very manageable, especially for those who choose to live like the locals," said one expat in Rhodes.
