Is the cost of living in Jizan high?

We asked people how much they someone comfortably live on in Jizan, they wrote:

"The cost of living in Jizan is considered to be relatively low compared to other major cities in the country. Housing and rental prices are quite affordable, especially when compared to cities like Riyadh or Jeddah. The cost of groceries and other basic necessities is also relatively low, making day-to-day living quite manageable. Eating out at restaurants or ordering takeout can be done at a reasonable price. Public transportation is also quite affordable, and the cost of gasoline is low due to the country's rich oil reserves. However, the cost of imported goods can be high due to import taxes. Overall, the cost of living in Jizan is manageable for both locals and expatriates," explained one expat.
