This includes expenses such as housing, food, transportation, and healthcare. Rent and property prices are significantly cheaper in Dumaguete than in most parts of the United States. Eating out at restaurants or buying groceries is also less expensive. Public transportation and personal vehicles are more affordable as well. Healthcare services and medications are also generally cheaper in the Philippines. However, it's important to note that while the cost of living is lower, so are the average wages.
