Are common prescription medications available in Prague?
When we asked expats in Prague if common prescription medications are available in Prague, they wrote...
"Yes, common prescription medications are available in Pragueublic. You can find them at local pharmacies, also known as "lékárna" in Czech. These pharmacies stock a wide range of medications, including those for chronic conditions, pain relief, and antibiotics. To obtain prescription medications, you will need a valid prescription from a licensed medical practitioner. Some pharmacies may also offer over-the-counter medications for minor ailments. It is essential to have a valid prescription and consult with a pharmacist or doctor before taking any medication," commented one expat who made the move to Prague, Czechia.
