We asked expats in Australia what banks they use and there advice about banking. They advised...

"A retirement in Australia can be an exciting and fulfilling experience. Before making such a big move it is important to understand the local laws, culture and healthcare system. Consider researching Australian visa regulations as well as potential tax implications depending on personal circumstances. Most importantly, familiarize oneself with the medical benefits and support available, to ensure a safe and comfortable retirement. One should also contemplate finding a suitable home to rent or buy, as well as investigating the cost of living in a variety of cities and towns. Finally, familiarize oneself with the local culture; explore renowned attractions, find out about the weather, plan a budget and make the most of Australia’s unique offerings," remarked another expat in Australia.

"Not really, most banks in Australia offer services tailored to individual needs," said a member in Sydney, Australia.
