Moving to Mactan Island

Hi everyone! I wasn't sure where I wanted to live in the Philippines but after talking to a few people I have now decided that Mactan Island might be the spot. I will be visiting in Dec. and looking for a place to rent in Jan. If anyone knows of a contact there I would appreciate it. Also any other info about Mactan would be appreciated.
