The American Club of Lyon, France was created in 1987 in order to form a community of expatriate Americans and provide support for new arrivals during the adjustment to a new culture. The club is open to all American citizens and their families living in the Rhone-Alps Region, as well as to people of other nationalities who have lived in the United States for at least two years. What is unique about your organization?

We share a desire to maintain our own cultural identity while integrating into this fascinating society in which we find ourselves. We organize celebrations of all the major US holidays and provide monthly activities for a wide range of interests.
