outofbai visited Cuenca, a few months ago. I arrived from Madrid, Spain via Quito on a one way ticket. i was not asked about a return flight ticket. Hotels in Cuenca have hot water in bathroom sinks and showers. A great many apartments have hot water only in showers. Unbelievable !
