Eating out at restaurants is also quite inexpensive, with meals costing around $3-5 USD. Renting an apartment in the city center can cost around $200-300 USD per month, while a house outside of the city center can cost around $100-200 USD per month. Utilities such as electricity and water are also quite affordable, with monthly bills usually ranging from $20-50 USD," said one expat in San Juan del Sur.
