Is the cost of living in Coronado high?

We asked people how much they someone comfortably live on in Coronado, they wrote:

"The cost of living in Coronado, is generally considered to be higher than in many other parts of the country, largely due to its popularity as a beach resort destination and its appeal among expatriates and retirees. Housing costs can vary widely, with beachfront properties and gated communities commanding premium prices, while more modest accommodations can be found further from the beach. Utilities such as electricity and internet are relatively affordable, but may be higher than in less developed areas due to the demand for high-quality services. Groceries and dining out can also be more expensive in Coronado compared to smaller towns and rural areas, reflecting the area's tourist-oriented economy and the availability of imported goods. Transportation costs are reasonable if you rely on public transit, but owning a vehicle will involve costs for fuel, maintenance, and insurance, which can add up. Healthcare services in Coronado are of good quality, and while cheaper than in many Western countries, medical expenses can still be significant, especially for private care. Many expatriates choose to purchase health insurance to manage these costs. Overall, while Coronado offers a high quality of life and a range of amenities that cater to both locals and expatriates, the cost of living is on the higher side for Panama, particularly in terms of real estate and leisure activities. However, it remains more affordable than many comparable coastal communities in North America and Europe," remarked one expat in Coronado.
