Take advantage of the free prenatal classes offered by the local hospitals and health centers. 3. Familiarize yourself with the local laws and regulations regarding maternity leave and childcare. 4. Join a local expat group or online forum to connect with other expat parents and get advice and support. 5. Take the time to explore the city and find the best places for you and your baby to enjoy. 6. Make sure to take advantage of the many parks and outdoor spaces in Karlsruhe for some fresh air and relaxation. 7. Don't be afraid to ask for help from family, friends, and other expats when you need it," explained one expat living in Karlsruhe, Germany.
