Secondly, consider hiring a doula or midwife who speaks your language and can help you navigate the healthcare system. They can provide emotional support and practical assistance during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Thirdly, make sure you understand the maternity and paternity leave policies in the Czech Republic. The country has generous parental leave policies, but they may be different from what you're used to in your home country. Fourthly, start looking for a pediatrician early. Many pediatricians in Brno have long waiting lists, so it's a good idea to start your search as soon as possible. Fifthly, consider joining expat groups or forums. They can provide valuable advice and support, and you may even make some new friends. Lastly, remember to take care of your mental health. Having a baby in a foreign country can be stressful, so don't hesitate to seek help if you're feeling overwhelmed.
