When we asked members about emergency services in Vancouver, they wrote...
"Emergency services in Vancouver are highly reliable and efficient. In the event of an emergency, the Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services (VFRS) and the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) are available to respond to any situation. To call for an ambulance, dial 9-1-1 from any phone. The 9-1-1 operator will ask for your location and the nature of the emergency. The operator will then dispatch an ambulance to the scene," explained one expat living in Vancouver, Canada.
