What have your experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system been like?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats and global nomads in Burlington about their experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system, they replied...

"The pandemic has had a significant impact on the local healthcare system in Burlington. The local hospitals have had to adjust their services to accommodate the influx of patients with COVID-19, while also continuing to provide care for other medical needs. The local healthcare system has also had to implement new safety protocols to protect both patients and staff, such as mandatory mask wearing, physical distancing, and frequent sanitization. Telehealth services have also been made available to help reduce the number of in-person visits. Despite the challenges, the local healthcare system has been able to continue providing quality care to the community," explained one expat living in Burlington, Canada.
