The city is home to a number of hospitals, including Vancouver General Hospital, St. Paul's Hospital, and BC Children's Hospital, as well as a number of smaller clinics and health centers. Vancouver also has a number of specialized medical facilities, such as the BC Cancer Agency, BC Women's Hospital and Health Centre, and the BC Transplant Society. In addition, Vancouver is home to a number of medical research centers, such as the BC Centre for Disease Control and the BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS. Vancouver also has a number of medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, who are dedicated to providing quality medical care to the city's residents," commented one expat who made the move to Vancouver, Canada.
