"The cost of living in Antigua & Barbuda is generally considered to be quite high, with prices for basic goods and services being comparable to those in the United States. Rent and utilities can be expensive, and the cost of food and other necessities can be higher than in other Caribbean countries. However, the cost of living is offset by the low taxes and the fact that the country is a popular tourist destination, meaning that there are plenty of job opportunities," said another expat in Antigua & Barbuda.
