In terms of religious, racial, economic and cultural diversity, are the people of this city or town diverse? Are they accepting of differences? Describe.
Yes, very diverse and accepting to the international delegates. Main religions of the region are Catholic and Protestants.
What are the main industries in this city? What types of career opportunities commonly exist? How do most people find new jobs?
There are several Siemens divisions located in the area. Also world headquarters of Puma and Adidas are located in Herzogenaurach. It is very difficult to obtain a wrok permit in Germany in you are not a member of the EU. Unemployment is very high here.
In general, what are peoples' priorities in this city? For example, do lives revolve around work, family, socializing, sports, etc.?
Most everyone in the area works for Siemens, Adidas or Puma. It is very International with many delegates from all over the world working for these companies. I would say that it is very family oriented though. With many local festivals and small town type activities. The German way is not to have too much emphasis on work.
