English Classes (Brisbane)- $5

Hi all,

English oral class and conversation group on Mondays at St David's community centre, Coorparoo 1:30pm-3:30pm, starting 11/8/14. Come along and improve your speaking and listening skills, practice through activities and discussion, and make some new friends. You'll learn a lot about Aussie culture too!

These classes are designed for intermediate level speakers. However if you're a fast learner and willing to give it a go you're more than welcome! The classes are quite informal and interactive to let students practice as much English as possible. Focus will be on practical English and incorporate much western and Aussie slang/colloquial terms.

I don't charge anything for running this group, but the community centre that is kindly hosting it requires to charge $5 per head to pay its bills. But for that you get afternoon tea, two hours of English instruction and a chilled environment to practice in, so I think it's still a good bargain :)

address is 68 Orange Grove Road, Coopers Plains, but entrance is on Rockwood Ave
and more info about the venue at
http://www.stdavidsnc.org.au/contact-us/

And don't worry, nobody will try to preach Christianity to you :)

The room we are provided with can only hold a small number of people, so unfortunately I do have to limit number of attendees. If you're interested please email me at [email protected] and give me your name to confirm your attendance so I can ensure we have enough chairs and space. If you RSVP after we have exceeded the maximum capacity, unfortunately I'll have to ask you to attend in a future week or wait til we find a larger room. oh and please don't ask me to proofread your formal assignments or complete your IELTS exam for you because I will say no!

Please note that the group will not be running every Monday of this semester due to my work commitments. You can check with me if class is happening beforehand by emailing me.

Thanks guys, and maybe see some of you soon! Don't forget to confirm attendance by email and give me your name!
