For those who enjoy outdoor activities, the city is surrounded by the Jizera Mountains and the Ješt?d-Kozákov Ridge, providing ample opportunities for hiking, skiing, and mountain biking. The Botanical Gardens and the Zoo, which is the oldest in Central Europe, are also popular spots for leisurely walks. While Liberec may not have a bustling nightlife like Prague, it does have a fair share of cozy pubs, wine bars, and restaurants that serve traditional Czech cuisine.
