Healthcare is also typically less expensive in Spain. However, salaries in Spain are often lower than in the U.S., so this is something to consider if you plan on working while living there. Additionally, the cost of living can vary greatly depending on your lifestyle and the specific area in which you choose to live. Overall, many people find that they can live more affordably in Cordoba than in the U.S," said one expat in Cordoba.

"The average cost of housing in Cordoba can vary greatly depending on the location and size of the property. However, as of recent data, the average price for an apartment in the city center may be around €1,800 per square meter. For the same size apartment outside of the city center, the price may drop to around €1,300 per square meter. Therefore, a typical apartment in the city center could cost around €180,000, while the same size apartment outside of the city center could cost around €130,000. Please note that these are average prices and actual costs can be higher or lower," explained one expat.
