"The cost of living in Playa Potrero, is considered to be relatively affordable compared to many places in the world, especially for a beach town. Housing costs can vary greatly depending on the type and location of the property, but generally, they are lower than in many U.S. cities. Utilities such as electricity and water are also reasonably priced, although they can be higher if you use air conditioning frequently. Internet and cable TV services are available at competitive rates. Groceries are generally cheaper than in the U.S., especially for local produce and products. Imported goods can be more expensive due to import taxes. Eating out in local restaurants is quite affordable, but prices in tourist-oriented establishments can be higher. Transportation costs are low, especially if you use public buses. Owning a car can be more expensive due to the cost of gasoline and maintenance. Healthcare is affordable and of high quality, especially if you join the national healthcare system, which is available to residents. Overall, the cost of living in Playa Potrero is lower than in many other beach towns around the world, making it an attractive destination for expats and retirees," explained one expat living in Playa Potrero.
