"1. Make sure to research the best hospitals and doctors in the area to ensure you have the best care for your baby. 2. Consider hiring a doula or midwife to provide additional support during the pregnancy and delivery. 3. Take advantage of the many resources available to expats in Davao, such as support groups and online forums. 4. Make sure to familiarize yourself with the local laws and regulations regarding childbirth and parenting. 5. Consider joining a local expat community to connect with other parents and get advice and support. 6. Take the time to explore the city and get to know the culture and customs of the area. 7. Make sure to take care of yourself during the pregnancy and get plenty of rest and nutrition. 8. Have a plan in place for after the baby is born, such as childcare and transportation. 9. Make sure to take advantage of the many activities and attractions available in Davao for families with young children," commented one expat who made the move to Davao, Philippines.
