What are the most challenging aspects of retiring in Minturno?

Answer this Question

We asked retirees what they find the most challenging about retiring in Minturno. They wrote...

"One of the most challenging aspects of retiring in Minturno is the language barrier. Although many people in the area speak some English, it is not widely spoken and it can be difficult to communicate with locals. Additionally, the cost of living in Minturno is higher than in many other parts of Italy, making it difficult to stretch a retirement budget. Finally, Minturno is a small town and may not have all the amenities and services that retirees may be used to in larger cities," commented one expat who made the move to Minturno, Italy.
