Culturally, Sokcho has a lot to offer. The city is home to several Buddhist temples, including the Sinheungsa Temple, which is a popular tourist attraction. The Sokcho City Museum and the Teddy Bear Farm Museum are also worth visiting. The city's fish market is a great place to experience local cuisine and culture. Recreational activities in Sokcho are largely centered around its natural beauty. Apart from hiking and beach activities, retirees can enjoy fishing, golfing, and even hot springs.
