What have your experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system been like?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats and global nomads in Cardiff about their experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system, they replied...

"The pandemic has had a significant impact on the local healthcare system in Cardiff. The NHS has had to rapidly adapt to the changing situation, with many services being moved online or suspended. GP surgeries have been offering telephone and video consultations, and there has been an increase in the use of digital health services. The local hospitals have been under immense pressure, with staff working long hours to cope with the influx of patients. The Welsh Government has also provided additional funding to help the NHS cope with the pandemic. Despite the challenges, the local healthcare system has been doing its best to provide the best possible care to the people of Cardiff," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Cardiff, England.
