GP surgeries have been offering telephone and video consultations, and have been able to provide prescriptions and referrals to other services. Hospitals have had to reduce the number of visitors allowed, and have implemented strict safety measures to protect both staff and patients. The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital has also been providing virtual outpatient appointments, and has been able to provide a range of services remotely.
