What have your experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system been like?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats and global nomads in Sheffield about their experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system, they replied...

"The pandemic has had a significant impact on the local healthcare system in Sheffield. The NHS has had to rapidly adapt to the changing situation, with many services being moved online or suspended. GP practices have been offering telephone and video consultations, and many hospitals have had to reduce the number of visitors allowed. The local NHS has also had to manage the additional pressures of the pandemic, such as the need for additional PPE and the redeployment of staff to different roles. Despite these challenges, the NHS in Sheffield has continued to provide excellent care to its patients," said another expat in Sheffield, England.
