Are foreigners allowed to own property in Lagos?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats in Lagos if foreigners are allowed to own property, they answered...

"Yes, foreigners are allowed to own property in Lagos. Non-residents of Portugal are allowed to purchase property in the country, however, they must obtain a tax identification number from the Portuguese Tax Authority in order to do so. Additionally, foreign buyers must also obtain a Portuguese residency permit if they wish to stay in the country for more than 90 days," remarked another expat who made the move to Lagos, Portugal.
