Hi guys
Recently applied for a credit card from Unicredit and to complete the registration it’s asking for
1. Modello Unico
2. Ricevuta telematica
Could anyone help me out and tell me what these are so I can complete my registration.
I give thanks in advance for anyone who can help me.
Connor

Modello Unico I believe is your tax return. Are you employed or self employed? Are you applying for a personal or business card?

Hi Connor,
Modello Unico is a tax return, but there are two such returns in Italy: the Unico and the 730. I think (!!) the 730 is for working folks and the Unico is for retired. Do not trust my distinction, though. We went down to the CAF seeking to file a 730 and, after some questions, were told we needed a Unico instead. My Italian-language skills prevented me from obtaining a complete understanding of all things.

That said, if you are a US citizen (a presumption), then you will have only your personal (or joint) tax return; the Fed return includes the State return, if required.

The Ricevuta Telematica is an "online receipt", according to my Italian wife. The Italians like to do everything online, though "online" rarely seems to work as planned. Check your Spambox. Check that they have the correct e-mail address (if you signed up for that). Things happen.

Cheers, John.

Hi Connor,
I think they want to see your US (or other) tax return. It's possible I wasn't clear on that. They want to see "money-in" vs "money out" (ie- debt owed). Any return (ie- last year's only) will probably suffice, provided the info therein meets their specs.
Cheers, John.
