Dual Citizenship processing in Italy

Hello

I will be processing my Jure Sanginis-Recognition of Italian Citizenship IN ITALY..

Some Comunes ask for the documents(birth, marriage, divorce) be "Legalized" can someone please tell me what that means? I thought that with the Apostille attached you do not need them legalized??
If i do need them legalized where do i legalize them or who legalizes them? Does the "Apostille" attached to these certifcates replace the "legalization" or must the documents have legalizations and Apostille?

Thank you!
