What advice do you have for expats having a baby in Todos Santos?

Answer this Question

We asked expat moms who gave birth in Todos Santos about their experiences and advice they have for other moms to be. They said...

"Before having your baby in Todos Santos, it is important to research local maternity care services, either through hospitals, clinics, or midwives. Be sure to inquire about adequate prenatal care and labor options available in the area. Additionally, you may want to consider purchasing health insurance for both you and your baby. Make sure to understand the local laws pertaining to immigrant parents, especially if one or both of you are not originally from Mexico. Before birth, familiarize yourself with the local customs and culture to ensure a positive and safe experience during your child's birth and beyond," remarked another expat who made the move to Todos Santos, Mexico.
