Prioritize finding a qualified and trusted OB/GYN doctor to attend to your pre- and post-natal care. Ensure that you have full access to the required health care documents for either Mexican or US citizenship for your baby. Utilize the resources available at your embassy or consulate for additional help or advice. Familiarize yourself with the Rosarito maternity leave regulations in order to properly plan for any needed days off. Lastly, take advantage of the local social networks and support groups available to help you with the transition into parenthood in Rosarito," explained one expat living in Rosarito, Mexico.
