"The cost of living in Daegu, South Korea is generally lower than in many parts of the United States. This means that you could potentially save money by living in Daegu, depending on your lifestyle and spending habits. Housing, in particular, tends to be more affordable in Daegu than in many U.S. cities. Groceries and dining out can also be less expensive in Daegu. However, some imported goods and luxury items may be more expensive in South Korea than in the U.S. Additionally, healthcare in South Korea is generally less expensive than in the U.S., even though the quality of care is high. Public transportation in Daegu is also quite affordable, and owning a car is not necessary for getting around the city. Therefore, you could save money on transportation costs as well," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Daegu, Korea.
