What do people like (and dislike) about Chipping Norton?
When we asked expats and global nomads what they like and dislike about living in Chipping Norton, they replied...
"For family reasons, I came to live here last year but it is not a place I would have chosen. As well as being built on a slope, it is very cold and windy in winter and amenities are not abundant. There are very few 'useful' shops and those here are mostly boutiques. Moreton in Marsh, 8 miles distant, offers a lot more, as well as a railway station you can walk to from the town. In my view, as a single person, it has been easy to make friends, the community are very welcoming. There are many things one can join as an older person," said another in Chipping Norton, UK.

"Expats and digital nomads living in Chipping Norton appreciate the small-town charm and the close-knit community. They also enjoy the easy access to the Cotswolds and the surrounding countryside, which offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. On the downside, some expats and digital nomads find the lack of public transportation and nightlife to be a bit of a challenge," explained one expat who made the move to Chipping Norton, England.
