"The cost of housing in Israel is generally quite high, with the average price of a home in the country being significantly higher than the average price in other countries. The cost of renting in Israel is also quite high, with the average monthly rent for a one-bedroom apartment in the country being around $1,000," commented one expat who made the move to Israel.
"Housing costs in Ra'anana are high. A home comparable to ours would probably price out at least at $1 million. This is typical of the city in which we live," remarked another expat in R'aanana, Israel.
