I am moving to Nassau on August 1st, and will need a place to stay by the 10th. I have a place that I am very interested in renting - 2 bed 2.5 bath, fully furnished for $1,800/month. Other than recruiting a roomate for there, I am interested to know if anybody is seeking or would welcome a roomate. I have been hired on as an assistant professor at the University of the Bahamas, and would prefer to live close to it.

I'm currently looking for a roommate. I'm an expat English guy living in luxury 3-bed townhouse in gated community and rarely at home. Location 6-mins from Paradise Island.

Hi there,
I am moving to Nassau in January. I am looking for accommodation myself. I would be happy to share. Can you advise on the area you are living?

Hi,

I found a roommate, but thanks! We live up by Delaporte, which is just west of Sandy Port. Those and the Cable Beach area are very nice, but costly. If you need a realtor, I suggest Paul Carey (you can google him, but let me know).

Thanks again, and best of luck!

Just curious, what are you paying over there? I found a place in Delaporte for $2,600/month, which includes utilities.

Hi, thank you for your advise. I found Paul and will contact him soon. Should you know anyone or heard anyone looking for very easy going roommate do let me know :-) Delaport or Cable beach be ideal as it's close enough to work - PwC.
