Finding Employment in Colombia

I had a look in the forums and could not really see much information on this.

Does anyone have any useful links or suggestions for finding jobs in Colombia. I have had my CV revised into spanish and with local advice. I have tried a couple of agencies (Hays being one noteable useless one in my experience). I have also used various colombian job sites and sent my CV direct to companies. In all this time I have had only one job interview with one agency so I think I am doing something wrong. My wife recommends visiting Multinationals and dropping off my CV. A friend of hers also recommends LinkedIn, although in my field opportunities seem to be non-existant. The family-in-law and friends of my wife haven't volunteered to help and I dont feel like trying to push my way in this direction.

As a general rule, when looking for a professional job as an expat in Colombia does anyone recommend particular routes to follow. Any good employment agency contacts would be appreciated.
