Advice still needed

I am still doing my homewrk into moving to the bahamas, and the more research i do the more questions i have.

while looking on the government site for residential permits. it stated i needed a marrage certificate, although i have been with my partner for 8 years and we have 2 sons.

so is it necessary for us to be married to get in as a family?

Also as far as making a living, I now am making money as a day trader on the internet and by selling Leotards and shorts i make on the internet/ebay.

Would this be accepted as being financially self suffient, or would it be classed as self employed???

I have also read that if you buy a property of $250,000 or more you are almost garenteed a residency permit.

we have found a property but it has been reduced to $210,000,

how would this reflect on a residency aplication??

hope someone can help??
many thanks
terrie
