Moving to Rio from London in December

Hi all,

My girlfriend of three years has just moved back to Rio (she's half Brazilian - we met at Uni and spent 2 years after graduation in London but she began to miss family and friends too much) we still haven't decided whether we will settle in Rio or London but i'd like to give Rio a go.

I am currently working for a legal services firm as a sales executive but would be interested in teaching English. Do i need to be TEFL qualified? I have a degree in Film and English, would this suffice for some jobs?

As you can see i am quite in the dark about all this and would really appreciate some advice. I've contacted the British Chamber of Commerce about possible sales jobs at british based companies in Rio but would prefer to teach English (even if the money isn't great)

Hope i haven't rambled and look forward to hearing from anyone who can help!!!

James
