Xenophobia in Brazil.

Is it just me or has anyone noticed how anti-America SOME Brazilians can be?Why is that?I work in Brazil and my boss is way over due with my pay check which was supposed to be given to me the 10th.I ask questions about why i haven't been paid yet..and she goes on ranting about Americans having attitudes, how we talk bad about Brazil and how "oh life here is not so easy now is it"..i never done any of these things she's accusing me of and this has nothing to do with me being paid for the job i did.She was acting really childish for someone who calls them self a professional.Has anyone experienced this with Brazilians..especially Americans?I'm sick and tired of my nationality being brought into every minor disagreement especially when the Brazilian person is in the wrong to begin with.Millions of them have traveled to the first word to work and make a living and don't mind taking tourist money yet when it is their turn to accept some immigrants they can act foolish and nationalistic at times. It seem like every Bolivian immigrant that comes here gets killed to.
