Multi Destination Trip to Bogota

Hi guys, I am looking for some Bogota expertise as I am proceeding with my fiance and her sons K1 visa. Ive been through 85% of the steps already but now, the interview, biometrics, lab and medical tests have to be done. Id love to be able to complete them all in three days but with an 11 year old, when they run a TB skin test, they say to give at least four days to get the results and if an xray is needed.

OK heres my setup without a locked in interview date which is the last step obviously. Im thinking of mid Julyish.

1st day (Monday) I want the Lab tests done and it is located at Instituo y Labortorio Calle 38 No 8-28, Local No.1. I will have to return at a later day in the week to have the boys result read. Door opens 630 am

1st day, after the lab, we will have a later in the day Dr appt for fiance physical exam, Dr address is Cra 13B No 165-85 Torre H or a 2nd choice which is a about 10 blocks away.

Between the 2nd and 4th day we need the biometrics and is pretty close to the airport, actually it is across the street from Aloft Bogota Airport Hotel @ 91 Carrera and Avenida El Dorado.

Final day which Ill call it the 5th day (a Friday) it will be the Interview at the embassy.

I was looking at either getting different hotels at closer areas but IDK if jumping around is worth the effort. Probably taking cabs around from a generally central location might be better. Obviously the biometrics is the further away and unfortunately cant make it last before trip back to airport.

In any event Im looking for some input, safer locations for a hotel(s), opinions from you local guys. I dont want a shi tty hotel, but I dont want to go broke either, this whole “project” isnt the cheapest excursion lol. Finally, I know that most of us expats have our mind sets on one thing or another, especially bringing our “spouses back to the states”. My decision is made on several levels and the fact that we have three kids at 11, 2 and 6 months, and their schooling and future dialed into this equation. Id like to try to steer clear of that part of the input.

Thanks
