Coming back

Hello again to everyone. Took a sort hiatus because the board seemed to be a victim of its own success.

Like many venues Ive experienced in life this group of enlightened people formed and exchanged ideas and information which worked well until a defunct and fringe class enjoined and shared their ideas of living in Colombia which was not only a major departure from the goal of us whom worked all our lives to now enjoy the fruits but was also an embarrassment.

One constant presence emerged urging us all to join him and go native to fully embrace the South American experience. His sharing of his strategies such as saving monies by after defecating to flush and use toilet waters to cleanse oneself were I know repulsive to not only myself but many of other American and European raised individuals. whom our acclamation decisions did not override our hygienic principles to which we adhere.

Also a drug induced and dependent individual whom clearly was in turmoil emerged whom contrary to our mindset of retirement or starting a business emerged daily announcing his scamming a publisher to fund his drug fueled bender..

Neither of these individuals fit with either mine or the majorities of the members plans for their habitation in Colombia so while their Omani presence inundated all of us I chose to allocate my time spent here to more productive activities and now return seeking the insights and advice of the more mainstream expat whom we all admire and emulate.
