How Old Is Too Old?

So there is a man in Colombia in his early 60s who says he is dating a 19 year old "woman". I'm not judging; I might do that, too, if I was single. I have enough money to buy her a ham sandwich. The interesting part about this story is that he assures everyone that she is with him because she wants to be with him and that he does not give her money and that he would never give a woman money for her company.

I got to thinking about this situation. If he lives another 20 years in 2038 he will probably be dating a young woman who hasn't even been born today. He certainly won't be with his 19 year old trophy of the month. No way will he settle for a 39 year old when for a few dollars more he can get another 19 year old.

Apparently we are to believe that this man is the most desireable man in the world and that women crave him for his intense masculinity. But for normal men like me, at what age do foreigners in Colombia have to start paying 19 year old women to tolerate "spending time" with them? This doesn't really apply to me because my wife (from Cali) tells me repeatedly "Se acabo el reinado." which means "The beauty pageant is over."
