Time for ' la Declaración de la Renta'

Sorry to bring up a dirty subject, but it's that time of year again, and this morning, I went to see my Colombian Accountant with all my paperwork filed and in date order, hoping for some good news.
There was none! Santos appears to have done the dirty yet again. To be honest I am still in the dark, my Accountant looked briefly through my papers, and then explained how the system has been changed.
Now all forms of income and expenses are categorised separately, each having a different tax implication, and they have now reduced the number of expenses you can claim against your bill.
She informed me that she went on the training course for the new Regulations last week, and came away totally ignorant, as the Trainer was useless, so she has arranged to go for a one to one session later this month with DIAN.
She informed me last year that I would probably have to pay a bit this year, which was bad enough, as she has been able to get the bill to zero every year since I arrived, but this year on what she has been told, my bill could be as high as 12million pesos, that is allowing for the 13mn I have already paid on my pension in the UK. I nearly fell off my chair,
I have been putting a bit aside each month, but nothing like that. She told me not to worry, once she has seen DIAN it could well be considerably less... I bloody well hope so (excuse the language) otherwise I am going to have a problem.
Anyone else seen their Accountant yet this year?
I will update my experience in a few weeks when I know more.
