Cable TV / School

Declaration: I searched but cannot find the answers to the following :) [OK, there was a discussion on cable TV 7 years ago.]

1. I'll be staying at an airbnb in Medellin (Laureles) for up to 3 months. I arrive in 12 days, yay and OMG :). The apartment comes equipped with cable TV (Tigo) and has Netflix in English. Is it possible to get various channels in English such as HBO, CNN, SHO, NBC, ABC and CBS?

2. Regarding Spanish school. When I was in Medellin a month ago, I was told there was a very good school in Laureles (next to or in one of Escobar's former residences) that immerses one in the language. Visits to nearby shops to converse with locals is part of the immersion. Can anyone vouch for this school or recommend one? While I am not adamant, I do not want a private tutor. I think that going to school would be a good way to meet people.
