Why do we live in Colombia?

In two weeks I will hit the 10 year mark and I'm feeling introspective. In hindsight, my decision to move to Colombia was the best decision of my life.
I had 3 big reasons for coming here, and so far, things have worked out much better than I expected.

1. The cost of living truly is lower by a wide margin than where I was living near Washington DC. Partly because so many things are just cheaper here, like housing, but also because of my much simpler lifestyle.

2. The climate is totally agreeable here in the mountains and valleys of the eje cafetero. It really is like eternal spring.

3. Dating younger, attractive women. Turned out to be amazing experience and getting better now that I found the one.
