Road & boat trip frome Medellin to Capurgana.

As usual, a few days ago, on a whim wanted to hit the road and take a trip so why not Capurgana, a place that is on my bucket list of places to visit and explore, so I write this now as I relax in my hotel bed in Capurgana.

The 400 =/- km drive from Medellin took me right at 10 hours to make it to Necocli. Got there last night, parked my car in a secure parking place, and then this morning got on the 8 am boat ride to Capurgana.

The boat ride cost 75.000 pesos one way and took a bit over one hour as the sea swells made for a bumpy ride.

Explored Capurgana today and tomorrow planing on a few serious hikes perhaps even walking into Panama, we will see how the weather is.

I invited a lady friend along with me on this trip, she is a costna and can handle anything and everything that an adventure traveler could experience and then more, be it heat or cold or rain or sleeping on anything or in any environment, and to boot she is built like that song from the 70's "shes a brick house", just having a little fun this Wednesday evening before they shut the power off in Capurgana for the night.

Hope to be back in my home in Medellin in about a week.
